Tokayev was also told about the work of the LUKOIL plant in the Almaty region, which was launched in 2020.
In 2019, LUKOIL opened a lubricants plant in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan.
Marketing outlets of the facility spread all over Central Asia.
The facility’s production range includes 700 lubricants created with innovative molecular technologies and approved by world’s leading car manufacturers.
It also created over 220 new jobs for the Kazakhs, particularly for graduates of local universities.
LUKOIL and KazMunayGas collaborate on:
- Karachaganak and Tengiz projects
- have joint ventures for development of the Zhenis, Al-Farabi, Khvalynskoye, Tsentralnoye fields
- The 2 companies cooperate within the framework of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium oil transportation project
