Schoolchildren will receive computers for E-Learning from TATNEFT

Kazan, April 17 - Neftegaz.RU. TATNEFT has initiated a campaign through the company’s j to collect and transfer computers, laptops and data tablets to create the environment for the schoolchildren’s distance learning at home in the region.

TATNEFT has handed over the company’s idle computers to schools in the district in order to provide access to distance learning for all schoolchildren, and in particular to those from the Families with many children that do not have enough equipment. The action was initiated by the Nail Maganov, General Director of the company, in response to the appeals by the residents of Almetyevsk to TATNEFT volunteers.

The initiative has been supported by the structural divisions of the company and its partners: Tatneft-AZS Center, Zenit Bank, Tatintek. The Company’s employees also joined the collection of the equipment, including the company’s management and personally Nail Maganov, who transferred their own laptops and tablets. In total, the TATNEFT charity fund has collected more than 100 pieces of equipment, additional tablets will be purchased through private donations to the charity fund.

The initial batch of 40 computers have been transferred to schools in the Almetyevsk district. Part of the equipment has also been transferred to the many children families in Bugulma and Bavly. The list of those who primarily need the support has determined by local education departments. Basically, the recipients are mainly large families as well as socially vulnerable families.
