Horrible Pipeline Blast In Nigeria

At least 20 people were killed when thieves set alight a fuel pipeline in the commercial capital Lagos, Nigeria, as authorities tried to arrest them for tapping into it.

The blaze has since been contained by fire crews, but police say the death toll could rise.

Nigeria's oil industry has suffered numerous problems, with local gangs stealing crude oil and siphoning off refined petrol from pipelines.
