38 Russian Mine Workers Killed by Gas Explosion

At least 38 miners were dead and two missing after a methane gas explosion at a Russian coal mine.

The Yubileinaya mine in Kemerovo, Siberia, had 217 miners were inside the mine at the time of the explosion. 179 were rescued.
