The parties considered areas for further cooperation, including projects in the field of crude oil refining, the development of a retail network of filling stations, as well as the possibility of implementing small-tonnage petrochemical projects in Uzbekistan.
As part of the working visit, the delegation from Uzbekistan visited the enterprises of KAMA TYRES, which is a tyre manufacturing business of TATNEFT in Nizhnekamsk, where the guests were demonstrated the production site of solid steel cord tyres.
Fuel economy and increased durability make them optimal for any type of freight and passenger transport.
Nizhnekamsk Truck Tyre Plant produces about 1.5 million solid steel cord tyres per year, and all stages of production and quality control are as possible automated to the maximum.
In 2019, TATNEFT and Uzbekneftegaz signed a document on the main terms of the PSA at the Pritashkent investment block of Uzbekistan.
When implementing the project, TATNEFT plans to use its own advanced methods and technologies for the exploration, field development and crude oil production.
The companies plan to further develop joint projects in Uzbekistan.
