Minsk, December 31 - Neftegaz.RU. Belorusneft-Siberia will expand cooperation with major Russian oil industry players in 2020, BelTA learned from the company's Director Dmitry Guzov. According to the source, Belorusneft-Siberia is now recognized as a reliable provider of oil industry services in Russia.
The main customers are the largest oil industry companies belonging to Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, Rosneft, and Novatek. “In 2019 we greatly expanded our presence at enterprises of Gazpromneft. We offer sidetracking services, well workover operations, and other services. We've constantly worked with Rosneft Group since 2007,” the executive said.
There are plans to expand cooperation with Gazprom Neft in 2020 in the spheres of production drilling and sidetracking. An agreement on production drilling has been reached with Rosneftegaz. According to preliminary estimates, Belorusneft-Siberia is expected to demonstrate an increase of 15-20% on top of this year's performance.
“These are projections. Besides, results of some tenders have yet to be summed up. The quality of our services meets requirements of the customers. We are offered work in various regions,” Dmitry Guzov stressed. According to the source, Belorusneft-Siberia enjoys a strong standing in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
“There are several projects beyond the polar circle. Those are primarily well workover jobs. One of the latest tenders we've won is to perform repairs in the Yuzhno-Tambeiskoye gas condensate field for Yamal SPG. It is one of the remotest areas in Russia,” the executive said. Taking into account today's situation on the oil services market, Dmitry Guzov concluded that 2020 will see kind of a breakthrough in the sphere of oil industry services.
“We can already see a high demand for services of our kind in Russia. Prerequisites are in place for the development of the oil industry services, particularly drilling ones. There is a demand for drilling contractors. A certain shortage of them is felt,” he opined.
Belorusneft-Siberia is part of the Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft. The branch was established in 2008 with a view to offering such services as sidetracking, well drilling, well workover, flush water accompanying services, controlled-angle drilling, and plugging operations.
Dmitry Guzov said: “When we started out, we had 3 crews for sidetracking. At present we have 15 crews, 15 drilling rigs with the lifting capacity of 125-200 tonnes, including 11 of Belarusian make. We employ over 2,000 people, including over 1,500 Belarusians.”
The executive also remarked that Belorusneft-Siberia had to find customers 3 years ago, now customers seek Belorusneft-Siberia's services. Oil industry companies are on the lookout for a reliable contractor such as Belorusneft-Siberia.
