Belgrade, March 17 - Neftegaz.RU. Serbia expects to sign a long-term agreement for natural gas deliveries with Russia's Gazprom by May 15, the general manager of state-owned monopoly Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic said, SeeNews has reported.

In November, Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said the country aims to sign a 10-year contract for the delivery of 3 billion m3 of Russian gas per year.
The previous long-term natural gas delivery agreement of Serbia with Gazprom expired on December 31, 2021.
In November, Gazprom agreed to continue selling Serbia gas at the price of $270 (245.6 euro) per 1,000 m3 until June 2022.

Last week, Vucic said Serbia would accept a price of $400 per 1,000 m3 under the new contract.

Gazprom's gas exports to Serbia in the 1st eleven months of 2021 were 57% higher than the quantity supplied in the entire 2020, the company said in December.
The exports of Gazprom to Serbia totalled 1.346 billion m3 in 2020, down 37% year-on-year.
