He noted:
- Following 2021, crude gas production is expected to make 54 bln m3, commercial gas production to stand at 29.4 bln m3, gas export to reach 7.7 bln m3
- Development of projects on Karachaganak, Kashagan and Tengiz sites and timely commissioning of new promising fields will let increase crude gas production by 2030 up to 87.1 bln m3
- Besides, it is planned to increase commercial gas production up to 42.2 bln m3 by 2030
- Following 2021 the country’s oil production is targeted to make 85.7 mln tons
Currently, the gasification issues such as Saryarka main gas pipeline follow-on and construction of main gas pipelines from Russia are being debated.
Kazakh Energy Minister also stressed that the accelerated gasification rates will let provide 11.05 mln people with natural gas by 2025, 13.5 mln or 65% of population by 2030.
Following 2021 the country’s oil production is expected to hit 85.7 mln tons, exports to make 67.6 mln tons.

It is expected to achieve these goals thanks to future expansion at TCO, construction of gas refineries on Kashagan oilfield which will let produce 3 bln m3 of gas and increase oil production from 16 to 20 mln tons a year.
As earlier reported, following 2021 the country’s petrochemical production is expected to make 190,000 tons.
