Poland´s PGNiG buys American LNG for Ukraine

Warsaw, February 3 - Neftegaz.RU. A tanker loaded with LNG from the US will arrive at the LNG terminal in Świnoujście at the end of this month.
Ukraine itself has no LNG import capabilities, but can import regasified LNG via pipeline from the Polish terminal.

This is the 2^nd gas delivery to Ukraine made by PGNiG and ERU based on the purchase of American LNG.
The 1^st one took place over 2 years ago.

The parties have been working together for several years.
In August 2021 PGNiG and ERU commenced E&P operations in Ukraine thorough their joint venture Karpatgazvydobuvannya, which holds a licence to explore and produce hydrocarbons in western part of the Lviv Oblast.
