The new shift camp with an area of 8.8 hectares was created according to the latest standards using modern materials and technologies.
Built taking into account the challenging conditions of the Far North, the residential complex is designed to accommodate 306 persons.
A significant part of the premises are connected by heated covered passages, which allows the residents to move comfortably around the complex without outerwear and outdoor shoes in any weather.
Its area is 20% larger than in the previous shift camp and amounts to 3140 m2.
Sergey Kudryashov, the General Director of Zarubezhneft commented:
- The «North Wind» shift camp replaced a complex of buildings that had been in operation for over 20 years
- The launch of the facility, despite all the limitations of 2020, is a major achievement for our company
- This high-tech project is equipped with advanced environmental solutions, for example, a modern water treatment and wastewater treatment system, as well as an efficient gas power supply system, which guarantees zero environmental pollution and saves about RUB 90 million a year
- They meet all the current requirements for the comfort and safety of living and ensure efficient work of employees in the Far North
At the same time, the new shift complex will continue to develop in the future - in 2022, an automated gas boiler house will be commissioned in the «North Wind», parking lots and outdoor sports grounds will be equipped.
