This was reported by the press service of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU).
Last month, the Ukrainian GTS Operator transported:
- 0.344 billion m3 of gas to Poland
- 2.5 billion m3 to Slovakia
- 0.803 billion m3 to Hungary
- 0.189 billion m3 to Moldova
As Ukrinform reported, in January-April 2021, gas transit volumes through the Ukrainian GTS decreased by 10%, to 14.1 billion m3 compared to the same period last year.
CEO of GTSOU Serhiy Makogon recalled in April that Russia's Gazprom is gradually reducing the volumes of gas transit via Ukraine.
Thus, following the launch of Turkish Stream 1 and 2, Ukraine's GTS has lost all positions in transmitting gas to Turkey, Greece, and Bulgaria.
