Siberian Light

The major Russian oil brand is Urals - the export blend, which is still used for pricing bulk of the Russian "black gold" going to the global markets.

Siberian Light has a lower sulfur content and lower viscosity than Urals Blend which is a mixture of crude oils consisting of Siberian Light with high sulphur oils produced in Russia’s European regions.

Density: 35.1° API (American petroleum Institute), sulfur content: 0.57 %.It is similar in composition to Brent and WTI, which belong to the so called light Sweet Oil low-sulfur light oil, which accounts for most of the world's demand.

Siberian Light is a light oil grade exported via Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiisk, along with Urals. The main producers of Siberian Light oil are Rosneft, LUKOIL, Surgutneftegaz, Gazprom Neft.
