Russia will leave the price for Belarus for next year, 2022, unchanged. There is also a plan to conclude an agreement on the unification of oil & oil products markets

Belarus and Russia will determine the operating principles of the common gas
market, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko told the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
Golovchenko said:
- By 1 July next year, we are supposed to determine how the common gas market of Belarus and Russia will function, how the gas price for Belarus will be set.

All this is meant for a long term

4 out of 28 reconciled Union State programs deal with energy matters: these are programs to set up the common markets of gas, oil and electricity, while the 4th program is devoted to nuclear energy
The price for Russian gas for Belarus in 2022 will remain the same as in 2021.
Now Belarus pays $128.5 per thousand m
3 of Russian gas, while on the European market the price has recently skyrocketed to reach $650.
By 1 December 2023, a document to create the common gas market within the Union State will be signed.
Belarus - seen as a close ally of
Russia - serves as an important transit route for Russian oil & gas to Europe.
Around 20% of Russian gas passes through Belarus on its way to
the EU, with the bulk going predominantly to Germany.
