Perm, September 8 - Neftegaz.RU. Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL, and Dmitry Makhonin, Head of
Perm Region, signed an Agreement on Social and Economic Cooperation for 2021-2025 today in Perm. It is designed to continue the sustainable economic
development of the region and to implement local and regional social projects.
As part of the agreement, LUKOIL will support construction, reconstruction, and repair of medical, educational, infrastructural, cultural, and sports facilities in the region.
The LUKOIL Charity Fund is to hold its traditional events, and the 20th Social and Cultural Projects Competition will also take place. Furthermore, the Company and the region continue their cooperation to implement environmental programs and projects.
Vagit Alekperov and Dmitry Makhonin have visited the site of the catalytic cracking unit at LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez refinery and held a teleconference with LUKOIL teams in Perm Region participated by over 5 000 employees.
The event was followed by a ceremony of national, ministerial and corporate awards presentation on the occasion of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day.
