- Hungary has reached a political agreement with Russia on the continuation of gas deliveries after its long-term contract expires in October 2021.
- a 15 km pipeline - interconnector between the gas networks of Hungary and Serbia would be completed by October 2021, allowing the delivery of 6 billion m3 of gas annually from the south.
- Hungary is purchasing 2 million doses of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine, sufficient to inoculate 1 million people.
