Banja Luka, March 24 - Neftegaz.RU. A meeting between the Gen.Director of Zarubezhneft Sergey Kudryashov and the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik took place in Banja Luka.
In the framework of this meeting the parties have discussed the results of production and financial activities of Zarubezhneft’s enterprises in the region in 2020 and the prospect for the company’s business development.
The difficult economic situation caused by the pandemic did not prevent Zarubezhneft from implementing its strategic development plans and opening new areas of activity.
So, in October 2020, Zarubezhneft put the 1st solar power plant at the Brod refinery into operation.
Zarubezhneft considers the organization of production of polymer-modified bitumen at the Brod refinery as another promising area.
This new type of product for the plant has improved characteristics of heat and frost resistance, ductility and fatigue resistance, due to which it is in high demand in the local market.
Apart from that, in May 2020, the plant for the production of engine oils, lubricants and functional fluids Modriča Motor Oil Plant, which is part of the Group's structure, developed a product for technical disinfection and cleaning of working surfaces Dezinsept.
Until the end of the year, 14.7 tons of products were sold.
During the pandemic, the plant donated the 1st volumes of disinfectant produced to the headquarters for emergency situations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also, Modriča MOP has developed and implemented a new concept for providing heat to the enterprise.
Fuel economy for 2020 was more than 35% of the plan.
Sergey Kudryashov said:
Now systematic work is underway to reconstruct the fuel stations network as a whole, a large-scale rebranding program has been initiated.
In the future, it is planned to expand the number of stations to 96.
