Moscow, January 10 - Neftegaz.RU. The organizer of the largest petrochemical business forum in Russia, Globuc, has announced the dates for the 7th annual conference. The event will be held in Moscow from April 11 to April 12 and will be traditionally co-located with a conference focusing specifically on gas monetization and methanol-based chemistry.
“Currently there are a lot of business conferences, but they all are focusing on anything, but not on specific business objectives. Our conference is for and about the actual business. We do not have random participants and reports,” Artem Kim, the conference leader, said of the conference objective.
According to the Analytical Centre under the Government of the Russian Federation, in the period of up to 2030, the production of large-capacity polymers in Russia will increase to 14.4 million tons (almost 3 times), and consumption - 2 times. This creates great prospects for the industry.
The CIS Petrochemicals conference serves as an independent platform for communication between industry professionals. 35% of conference participants are manufacturers of petrochemical products. The total combined investment in the projects of the companies participating in the 2018 conference is more than $60 billion.
Topics in 2019 include both technological and economic aspects of the implementation of petrochemical projects. “We intentionally do not to focus on one aspect, since in reality technologies do not exist separately from financing.
