Gas turbine projects increasingly depend not only on equipment efficiency, but also on spare parts availability, repair capability, inspection technologies, field service response, digital diagnostics and the stability of supplier relationships.
GTF 2027 will focus on gas turbine applications in power generation, oil and gas, industrial energy, offshore power and distributed energy. GTF's 2026 edition showed how these issues are already shaping industry conversations. The event welcomed 15,920 participants from 34 countries and regions, including 3,003 VIP delegates, 256 speakers, 266 exhibitors and more than 700 business matching meetings. Participants represented gas turbine and aero-engine OEMs, energy users, airlines, MRO providers, engineering organisations, research institutions and specialist suppliers.
The 2026 programme also included a high-level closed-door meeting on the gas power and gas turbine industry, as well as a closed-door workshop on gas turbine supply-chain development and global expansion. These discussions brought together power utilities, gas turbine OEMs, energy users, component suppliers and international partners to examine reliability, industrial collaboration, long-term service capability and the next stage of market development.

GTF 2027 is projected to bring together more than 300 speakers, 4,000 delegates, 350 exhibitors and 20,000 participants from over 40 countries and regions across 25,000 square metres of exhibition space, creating a platform for dialogue, sourcing and partnership development.
At a time when energy companies are rethinking supply-chain resilience and lifecycle support, Shanghai will offer a direct view of China's gas turbine industrial capabilities and the partnerships emerging around them.
