The results of the development of the energy complex for January-April were discussed in Tukmenistan

Ashgabat, May 15 - Neftegaz.RU. The results of the development for 4 months of 2020 of all spheres of the national economy, including the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, were discussed at a government meeting held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov via video communication.

The head of state called the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Meredov, adviser to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues Y. Kakaev and the state minister - chairman of Turkmengas state concern M. Archaev.

The Vice Prime Minister reported on the implementation of the Oil & Gas Industry Development Program for the period up to 2030 and the results of the work of supervised industries for 4 months.

It was reported that the plan for oil and gas condensate production was fulfilled by 108.9 %, oil refining - by 104.1 %, gasoline production - by 124.2 %, diesel fuel - by 106 %, polypropylene - by 140.4 %.

The growth rate of liquefied gas production amounted to 114 %, natural and associated gas production - 102.3 %.

Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil & gas issues, Y. Kakaev, reported on work to improve the country's fuel and energy complex, implement a number of major investment projects, as well as enhance international cooperation in the energy sector.

Chairman of the Türkmengas M. Archaev reported on the main indicators of the country's gas industry development, on the planned measures to further increase the production of “blue fuel”, production of liquefied gas and gas-chemical products produced by enterprises subordinate to the concern.

After hearing the reports, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that according to the results of 4 months, the main production indicators for the oil and gas complex correspond to the planned annual plans, indicating the key areas of work to ensure growth rates in this sector.
