Crude Prices Rising
Crude futures for September delivery climbed by...
NYMEX: crude futures for September delivery climbed by 78 cents to close at $41.36 a barrel.
The all-time intraday high for crude futures was set on June 1 at $42.38. The August contract on Tuesday rose to $42.30.
Prices found continued support from concerns over Russian production, despite OPEC's strong output and promise for more output capacity by the end of next year. Strength in natural gas, whose August contract closed at $6.152 per million British thermal units, up 3.7 percent, also helped rally oil. Natural gas supplies were up less than expected last week
