Crude oil prices eased yesterday after worries over stop supplies from Russia turned out unjustified, and gasoline supplies in the United States increased.
The US Energy Department said that the supply of commercially available gasoline rose by 2.4 million barrels last week, reaching a historically comfortable level for this time of year.
In New York light crude futures for September delivery fell $1.32 cents to $42.83 a barrel on the NYMEX.
On London?s IPE Brent crude futures dropped 94 cents to $39.70, easing from a record high earlier of $40.99.
