ALROSA To Sell Diamonds

The Supervisory Council of ALROSA Company held a meeting in Moscow. The meeting was headed by Russian Minister of Finance A. Kudrin, according to ALROSA'a press service.

The Supervisory Council approved the concept of the company?s development in raw diamonds realisation in the domestic and international markets. The programme development was started in 2002. The new concept provides decrease in diamonds sales to De Beers, ALROSA sales policy standardisation etc. The concept development has become possible in the context of Russian diamond complex liberalisation.

The programme developers express an opinion that the project will increase diamond sales and will strengthen ALROSA position in the world?s market.
