Russian University Invented New Technology

The scientists from Novosibirsk State Technical University, Russia, are taking a crack at creating a new gold mining technology. The first result of the tests was creating of 0.01 g of gold ? the amount that used to be thought non-existent.

The current methods of gold mining as well as the equipments that are applied by Russian mining companies have become out-of-date. They allow to get only a half of the precious metal contained in the ore. The scientists hope that their experiments will help in gold mining industry developing and its volumes increasing.
