Crude oil prices renewed a three-week setback on Thursday as growing world crude supplies took away concerns over thin heating oil stocks in the world.
US light crude futures fell 62 cents to $46.22 a barrel on the NYMEX, cutting into Wednesday's 73 cent advance. London?s IPE
Brent futures dropped 4 cents to $42.72.
The losses caused by OPEC?s projected big winter stock build if the cartel keeps producing at current levels.
Figures in OPEC?s monthly Oil Market Report implied a two million barrels per day increase in inventories during the winter months, a time when heating demand will be peaking during the northern winter.
