Crude futures in Asian trade today continued to rise from Friday as worries over possible supply crunch in the coming northern winter months resuscitated.
US January Light sweet crude in traded at $48.88 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, almost unchanged from Friday price of $48.89.
