Crude oil prices gained Monday touched up by shutdown of Statoil?s North Sea oil production platform because of a gas leak; and fresh concerns about heating oil supplies.
Crude oil futures for the delivery in January rose 32 cents to $49.76 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Meanwhile, at London's IPE the January contract Brent futures climbed $1.18 to end at $45.75 per barrel.
