Russian Bank Gold Operaton Grew 15%

Russian commercial bank Rosbank?s operations with gold grew in 2004 by 15% and exceeded 39.5 tons. In 2003 this figure was 34.2 tons. This volume amounts to about 24% of total Russian gold mining volume in 2004.

The volume of operations with platinum increased by 75% and totalled to 2.27 tons, compared with 1.3 tons in 2003. The amount of silver bought by Rosbank in 2004 was 33.6 tons, compared with 73.3 tons in 2003.
