Crude prices eased on Wednesday ahead of the US government stockpile report; and, according to some traders? opinions, due to an expected increase of American reserves.

US crude futures for March delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell 15 cents to $46.97 per barrel in electronic trading in Asia on Wednesday morning.
