Crude oil futures eased slightly Thursday after touching above $57 a barrel in early trade.
April delivery sweet light crude dropped 6 cents to $ 56.40 per barrel, after climbing to $57.60 a barrel in early trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Meanwhile, on the International Petroleum Exchange in London, Brent crude futures for April delivery rose 18 cents to end at $55.06 a barrel.
