Crude Price Falling 6 Days in a Row

Oil prices fell for the sixth straight day Tuesday amid speculations about OPEC production boost.

US light crude fell 57 cents at $52.75 a barrel at NUMEX.
London?s IPE Brent crude futures dropped 82 cents at $52.07.

The head of the International Energy Agency said that oil markets are well-supplied. IEA?s executive director, Claude Mandil, said on the sidelines of a London conference: "I do not see the huge need for additional oil. I am comfortable with stocks in Europe and the United States, but not in the Far East."

Crude oil prices are still more than 25 per cent above levels at the start of the year, driven by strong global demand and concerns about a shortage in refining capacity.
