Crude oil futures extended its rising for a second day Thursday as traders doubted that major producers were able to meet growing demand late this year.
Crude oil futures for June delivery rose 70 cents to end at $50.83 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
June contract Brent crude futures added 16 cents to settle at $51.13 a barrel on London's International Petroleum Exchange.
