US Gold Gained Back

US gold futures rose Wednesday on speculative buying and bargain hunting amid slightly lower dollar, dealers said.

August contract rose 60 cents to close at $424.50 an ounce, after trading between $424 and $425.90 gold on the New York Mercantile Exchange's COMEX division.
