Gold Rose On Euro High

Gold futures rose in New York Wednesday on the euro's fresh 8-week high against the dollar.

The benchmark December gold contract settled $5.00 higher at $442.70 per ounce , just off of a five-week high of $443.00 at Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
