The assets of Russia's Central Bank (grand total) amounted to RUR7.083 trillion (approx. $263.6bn) as of June 1, 2006, up by 4.42 percent from May 1, 2006, the Central Bank's statement reads.
The amount of credits and deposits totaled RUR24.149bn (approx. $898.7m), down by 1.6 percent against the previous month.
Funds deposited with non-resident companies and securities of non-residents exceeded RUR6.646 trillion (approx. USD 247.3bn) on June 1, 2006, which is 5.07 percent higher than on May 1, 2006.
Cash in circulation totaled RUR2.242 trillion (approx. USD83.4bn), up by 3 percent compared with May 1, 2006. The balance on the Central Bank's accounts grew by 5.29 percent in May to RUR4.428 trillion (approx. USD164.8bn), while its capital surged by 24 percent to RUR210.244bn (approx. USD7.8bn).
