Oil prices have eased slightly despite BP's closing the largest oilfield in the US
Oil prices have eased slightly on Monday, despite BP's closing the largest oilfield in the US.
London's Brent crude futures eased to $77.98 a barrel, after hitting a high of $78.64 on ICE Futures.
US light sweet crude also slid 25 cents to $76.73 a barrel on profit-taking, having risen as high as $77.30 per barrel.
