Oil prices edged up in Asian trading Thursday after dropping more than 1.8 per cent in the previous session on data that showed a less-than-expected drop in US inventories for distillate fuel.
Light, sweet crude for March delivery inched up 2 cents to $58.02 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange in Singapore.
