The Federal Government of Nigeria has sued Shell for alleged violation of nuclear safety
The Federal Government of Nigeria has sued the Shell Petroleum Development Company and some companies for alleged violation of nuclear safety and radiation law.
In the suit filed at the Federal High Court, Abuja, the government listed 27 charges against the firms.
The accused were said to have allegedly conspired between September 9 and October 9, 2006 to carry, transport, handle, store and transfer radioactive sources to an unauthorised person.
