Billionaire investor and philantropist George Soros disclosed large stakes in ConocoPhillips , Pride International Inc. and PDL Biopharma Inc. in a second-quarter report filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At the end of the quarter ended June 30, Soros Fund Management LLC held 432,243 ConocoPhillips shares, 1 million shares of oil drilling contractor Pride International and more than 2 million shares of biotechnology company PDL Biopharma.
