Gold Lost A Dollar On Firmer Dollar

Gold slipped on lower oil prices and the prospect of a firmer U.S. currency ahead of a key data release on Monday, analysts said.

Gold futures lost 90 cents to 782.60/783.40 per ounce at 1047 GMT, has lost around 7 percent since last month's ascent to its highest in almost three decades.
