Crude Oil Dropped Below $90 Level

Crude oil futires dropped below $88 a barrel on Monday amid expectations that a low Federal Reserve interest rate cut would support the ailing dollar.

U.S. light, sweet crude fell 47 cents a barrel to $87.81 in Globex electronic trading by extending Friday's nearly $2 drop.

London Brent crude fell 19 cents to $88.45 a barrel on the ICE Futires.
