Gold Gains After 2 Days of Decline

Gold rose for the first time in three days in London after gains in equities and other commodities, reviving investor demand for the precious metal. Platinum and silver also climbed.

Gold for immediate delivery gained $2.92, or 0.3 percent, to $879.95 an ounce as of 10:17 a.m. in London.
