Oil prices slid to $91 a barrel Thursday after Wall Street's overnight decline and a report that U.S. crude stockpiles rose last week.
US Light, sweet crude for March delivery fell 85 cents to $91.48 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange by midday in Europe.
In London, Brent crude futures lost 96 cents to $91.57 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
