Gas prices in Massachusetts, US dropped another 8 cents in the past week, the sixth consecutive week of falling prices.
AAA Southern New England's weekly survey released Monday found
an average price of $3.70 per gallon for self-serve, regular.
Gas prices have dropped an average of 38 cents per gallon from
the record high of $4.08 per gallon on July 7. The average price a
year ago was $2.72 per gallon.
Prices in Massachusetts are 4 cents below the national average.
AAA's survey found a range in prices of 68 cents, from a low of
$3.51 to a high of $4.19.
