Rosneft posted an increase in production in the 1st half of 2019

Moscow, August 21 - Neftegaz.RU. Hydrocarbon production in H1 2019 amounted to 5.81 mmboed (141.8 mmtoe for the half-year), exceeding H1 2018 level by 1.8%.

In H1 2019 liquids production amounted to 4.68 mmbpd (114.3 mmt for the half-year), exceeding H2 2018 production level by 2.1%. Production growth was due to the continued active development of new large projects (Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye, Srednebotuobinskoye, Kondinskoye fields) and production ramp-up at brownfields (Samaraneftegaz, RN-Nyaganneftegaz, Varyaganneftegaz).

Gas production in H1 2019 amounted to 33.43 bcm, including 16.31 bcm in Q2 2019. YoY production growth was achieved mainly due to the production capacity increase at Zohr field along with commencing new wells with a high gas factor at Yem-Egovskoye and Kamennoye fields at RN-Nyaganneftegaz in H2 2018.

More than 1.7 th. linear km of 2D and c. 5.6 th. sq. km of 3D onshore seismic works were conducted in H1 2019 on Russian on-shore, 48 exploration and appraisal wells were tested with an 88% success rate. As a result of geological exploration, 29 new deposits and 17 new fields were discovered with АВ1С1+B2С2 hydrocarbon reserves amounting to more than 26 mmtoe.

Refining depth in Q1 2019 amounted to 74.8%, light products yield to 58.4%. In H1 2019 Rosneft increased the motor fuels supplies to the domestic market to 14.0 mmt (6.8 mmt in Q2 2019) which is 6.9% higher than H1 2018 level.
