Vanino, 24 July - Neftegaz.RU. The state expertise of project documentation for the construction of a terminal for transshipment of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) in the seaport of Vanino on the northern shore of Muchke Bay, Khabarovsk Territory was completed with positive results.
The port of Vanino is a major transportation hub connecting railway, sea and road routes. Through Vanino, cargo is delivered to the north-east regions of Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, other countries of the Asia-Pacific Region, Australia and the USA. TGE Gas Engineering, one of the leading contractors in the global market for the design, procurement, installation and project management for the storage, transshipment and processing of cryogenic gases for the energy, oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries, participated in the development of this large-scale project.
TGE Gas Engineering provided the following services:
- development of Special Technical Conditions for the design and construction of LPG storage tanks
- provision of books with calculations of 2 isothermal storage tanks and constructive solutions for the pile arrangement and tanks foundations.
The port infrastructure is formed by 16 jetties, open and closed warehouses, equipped with port facilities, crane equipment and handling equipment.
The construction of a specialized plant in the seaport of Vanino will increase the export of LPG by 2 million tons per year - this is the planned cargo turnover of the terminal, officially recognized as a large-scale investment project of the Khabarovsk Territory.
Due to a competent approach to design, the project, being only at the planning stage, guarantees its workability, opening of new vacancies and an environmental approach to construction.
