Moscow, June 4 - Neftegaz.RU. Russia-focused Volga Gas said it produced less oil and gas in May due to Gazprom pipeline maintenance. Production for the month averaged 4,221 barrels of oil equivalent, down 14% from April.
Capacity had started to gradually resume to normal levels from 1 June, it added. Drilling of the Uzen 4 horizontal sidetrack well, meanwhile, was completed on 1 May.
From January 1 to April 30, Volga's total production averaged 5,859 barrels of oil equivalent per day, rising from 4,010 barrels per day the year before.
The increase was the result of higher processing capacity at its Dobrinskoye gas plant in Russia and the addition of liquid petroleum gas.
