Malaysian Service Stations Operations Sue Exxon

440 Malaysian service station operators are suing ExxonMobil units Esso Malaysia Bhd and ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd, claiming that they were forced to sign a new licensing agreement, the New Straits Times reported.

The stations are also seeking 1 mln rgt fro every service station that was forced to close as a result of the new agreement.

The new agreement, terms of which were not disclosed, is currently subject to a court injunction.
