The Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory (OOO "NZGSH"), which is part of the OAO TATNEFT's petrochemical complex, produced the 70 millionth tire.
The first products of the Nizhnekamsk truck tire factory - tires for heavy trucks "Ural" - were produced in April 1978. Production of the 70 millionth tire was timed to Chemist's Day and the 80th anniversary of Nikolay Alexandrovich Zelenov, the first director of the Nizhnekamsk tire factory, and now Adviser to Chairman of the Board of Directors of OOO "Nizhnekamskshina". The produced tire size is designed for KAMAZ trucks.
Today the range of OOO "NZGSH" products is about 30 kinds of tires with some exported to CIS and far abroad countries and also delivered to meet the needs of the Ministry of Defense.
At present the factory produces more than 7,000 tires a day. Each year the factory starts production of several models and sizes of new high-quality tires. In 2011, they started production of 425/85 R-21 KAMA 1260-2 tire model.
