Biography
Born in 1953 in Baku.
In 1975 - graduated from the Azizbekov Azerbaidzhan Institute of oil and chemistry, qualification - technology and complex mechanization of oil and gas deposits development.
From 1975 to 1982 - worked as an engineer, head of the district engineer-technological service, chief engineer, head of "Katanglineftegaz".
In 1982 - appointed chief engineer of "Noglikineftegazdobycha".
In 1988 - chief engineer of this association.
In 1988 - chief engineer of "Katanglineftegaz".
1994 -1998 was appointed deputy general director of JSC "Sakhalinmorneftegaz" on foreign economic activity issues.
In 1998-2004 - Vice-President of OAO Oil company Rosneft.
From March 2004 to October 2007 - head of the Federal energy Agency (ROSENERGO) Oganesian is one of the discoverers and developers of oil and gas deposits of the Sakhalin shelf.
