Biography
Born in 1948 in Baku.
In 1966 - graduated from Industrial Institute, qualification - electrification and automation of mining works.
Upon graduation worked as a chief engineer, head of the department of 'Nadymgazprom'.
In 1978-86 - occupied positions of a chief engineer, deputy head, head of the department, deputy head of Glavtumengazprom.
From 1986 to 1993 - worked as a deputy general director, general director of the production association 'Nadymgazprom', in 1993 was appointed to the post of deputy chairman of State company 'Gazprom' board.
From 1993 to October 1999 he worked as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom.
Since 1999 to 2001 – the General director of VNIIGAZ.
Suddenly passed on 30th October, 2001.
Awarded the Technical Sciences Master’s degree, Valery Remizov was elected an Academician of the Mining Sciences Academy of the Russian Federation, an Associate Member of the RF Academy of Technological Sciences.
The author of a monograph; the author of 40 publications and 3 books.
